Grant Lubbock, owner of Red Baron Ink Tattoo and Piercing, hails from sunny Southern California and has always been driven by a deep passion for art and tattoos.
Before making the move to New York in the summer of 2012, Grant explored life all over Southern California, with his last stops being Orange County and Los Angeles. As a young adult, his days were filled with surfing, skating, and creating art. Long before cell phones, Grant was captivated by Tattoo Magazine and Taboo Magazine, which fueled his early obsession with tattoo culture.
Grant often describes his tattoos as “laser-proof” or proudly claims, “this tattoo will make it to the grave with you.” While his bold designs are a signature, he’s equally skilled in fine line work and versatile styles to suit any request.
Known for his approachable demeanor and gentle application process, Grant creates custom tattoos inspired by modern art, museums, graffiti, traveling, and underground street art. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, made in collaboration with his clients to reflect their unique vision.
